Half Marathon
The Life Time Chicago Half Marathon presented by HOKA gives you the chance to run on traffic restricted Lake Shore Drive! This scenic half marathon course starts in Historic Jackson Park, site of the 1893 World Columbian Exposition, and winds through the beautiful Hyde Park neighborhood and University of Chicago campus. The course then takes runners along Chicago’s south Lake Shore Drive, taking in the views of Lake Michigan, Chicago skyline and the Science and Industry Museum campus before a triumphant finish at the golden Statue of the Republic.
5K
The Life Time Chicago 5K will take place on Sunday, September 24, the same day as the Life Time Chicago Half Marathon, and actually uses the same finish line as the Chicago Half Marathon. The race is a great opportunity for friends and families to participate before they cheer their loved ones competing in the Chicago Half Marathon on to the finish.

Chicago’s ultimate running challenge. The 2023 Life Time Chicago Half Marathon Series is comprised of 2 events; the 2023 Life Time Chicago Spring Half Marathon and the 2023 Life Time Chicago Half Marathon.
Run 2 races, earn 3 medals. By registering for both the Chicago Half and Spring Half, you’ll earn yourself a chance to complete Chicago’s ultimate running challenge — the Life Time Chicago Half Marathon Series — and earn yourself a third finisher medal to complement the pair!
