Raceday Transportation

RACEDAY PARKING

There is limited parking at or near Jackson Park.  There are nearly 1,400 spaces in the Museum of Science & Industry parking garage along with parking along the Midway Plaisance.  We highly encourage participants and spectators to take public transportation to and from the race.  If you drive, please plan to leave enough time to find a parking spot.  We are not responsible for participants who drive and do not make the start of the race.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Metra

Metra is a great, easy way to get to and from the event on Raceday for only $5.  The Electric Line from Millennium Station (on Michigan between Randolph & South Water) services the Jackson Park area, stopping at 63rd Street, 0.2 miles from the start line.  There are three regularly scheduled trains that run service prior to the start of the Chicago Half Marathon.  METRA has also arranged for a special "Race Train" to get participants to and from race site.
