Chicago 5K Race Information

The Hyundai Hope On Wheels 5K takes place on September 9, the same day as the Chicago Half Marathon and utilizes the same start line and finish line as the Half Marathon.  The Hyundai Hope on Wheels 5K will start at approximately 7:45 AM. The Hyundai Hope On Wheels 5K will carry a 50-minute time limit, or 16 minutes per mile, for completion.  Runners and walkers in the Hyundai Hope on Wheels 5K receive many of the same benefits as the participants in the Half Marathon, including:

• Aid stations serving water and Gatorade Endurance on the course 
• Entertainment along the course
• Exclusive packet pick-up area 
• A short-sleeved 5K T-shirt
• A great commemorative medal to all finishers 
• A post-race party in Jackson Park
